Farewell Jake!

Jake Delhomme was unexpectedly (?) cut as QB for the Carolina Panthers late last week.  Just one year after extending a generous contract to the NFL star, the Panthers parted ways suddenly with Jake after a miserable 2009 season.  Delhomme led Carolina to the 2003 Super Bowl, the 2005 NFC championship, made the Pro Bowl, recovered from reconstructive elbow surgery in 2007 and holds nearly every franchise passing record.  Despite this, the Panthers said "Adios".  Still, along with some great game performances, we can never thank Jake enough for his unforgettable moment on the field on the fateful day that brought us this amazing event:

Jake and the Boys

While the season may be over for the Carolina Panthers, Jake and the boys did have some high moments this year, one of which was ending the season with three consecutive wins.  As a tribute to the team, I thought I'd feature Jake and his awesome jock, along with some of the other Panthers rockin' their own straps.  Enjoy.
