Stumbled across these pics of some English dudes practicing their cricket skills... Apparently they practice with their straps on the OUTSIDE.. Geez, if only we could get the NFL to do this!
I'm afraid that the National Football League players are going in the opposite direction. They used to practice with helmets and shoulder pads in football or athletic shorts with minimal inseams. Now they imitate basketball players and their long bloomers. Boxers are also of mixed minds. Maybe cricket would catch on here more if the equipment wasn't so stupid looking. They should just wear the jock and nothing else. Heh heh!
