Ok, not to get off track from the strap watching here, but just wanted to spotlight something else I love to see on the gridiron: Practice pants. Most dudes usually take a old pair of gamepants and cut them off above the knee. In high school, we actually had practice pants that were tailored to be a little shorter, a little lighter and a little tighter... Fortunately, that's how the pros do it too.
Enjoy.
That picture of you in practice pants is freakin' HOT! If I was on your football team, I would try to shower with you just to get the chance to see the rest of you... and try to get laid. Even your profile pic looks great. You definitely need to have a section on yourself, both in and out of gear. I wouldn't mind beat it over and over again to a montage of your football pics.
ReplyDeleteWear can I by football pants like that? I've definitely got a gear fetish, and shorter, tighter pants would definitely get my chub on. What brand are they and what type (like highcut or practice, ect.). I'd love a pair of my own.
Thanks man, but that ain't me... I guess I look a little like him (wish I looked MORE like him lol) But glad u like the pic anyhow. Hope you will continue to enjoy the blog!
ReplyDeleteJoey T.
Yeah Joey, you're still HOT dude!
ReplyDeleteI wish you could find photos of older football shorts, the same anatomically correct male cut as football pants, but with a about a 2 inch inseam. I have 2, bought about 1980, both have lace flys and a patch pocket on the left hip. I can't find that they are made today:
ReplyDeleteSpanjian, made at 1050 Los Valiecitos Boulevard, San Marcos, California. They made official sports uniforms, but mine was made for the general public. Here is a link to their history:

They were bought out by DeLong Sportswear, which closed and went bankrupt in 2009:

and was sold to a competing neighbor in the award jacket business:

I bought mine at retail, possibly at KMart, the S. S.Kresge discount store. It's dark navy blue with light blue and white side stripes. Inseam is 2 inches, crotch is about 1-3/4 inches. The label says polyester, but it's very stretchy. The pocket has a button to close it. It's still in very good condition.
I bought the other from International Male's mail order catalog. It's a Brawn, made by Betlin Manufacturing Company of Columbus, Ohio. It's solid black. Inseam is about 1-3/4 inches, crotch is about 2 inches. The label says 100 per cent Nylon, and it's also very stretchy. The stitching that secured the elastic waist band to the shell has failed.
